Epithelial Mesothelioma
Epithelial mesothelioma, Mesothelioma is a cancer caused almost exclusively by exposure to asbestos. The mesothelium produces fluid that lubricates and protects the organs that work and move.
Epithelial Mesothelioma, A couple of different types of cells may be affected by mesothelioma. One of this kind are epithelial cells. Because mesothelioma cancer can spread to other cell types and travel throughout the body, epithelial mesothelioma is the name of mesothelioma, which starts in epithelial lining.
Epithelial mesothelioma is a malignant form of mesothelioma that specifically affects the epithelial cells. The symptoms of epithelial mesothelioma depends on the area or organ where the cancer is located, such as’, stomach, lungs or abdomen or heart, or if it has spread to other areas of the body.
Treatment Epithelial Mesothelioma depends on several factors such as:

- The wishes of the patient and their family
Treatment Epithelial Mesothelioma can be divided into three main categories:
Curative treatments – Epithelial Mesothelioma

The reason for such therapies are called “healing” as they are trying to eradicate the cancer of the body, but for now, these treatments have at best slowed the growth or spread of mesothelioma. Curative treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or a combination of some or all of them, epithelial mesothelioma.
Palliative Treatment – Epithelial Mesothelioma
These therapies are medical treatments that are meant to relieve pain or discomfort of the patient as a pain medicine or surgery to drain fluid and remove the large tumors that are creating pressure.
Palliative treatments include alternative methods that can make the patient more comfortable, physically, emotionally or spiritually. Some examples of alternative palliative treatments include meditation or prayer, massage, dietary supplements and a strict diet, epithelial mesothelioma.
It is important to note that neither medical nor alternative palliative therapies have shown any evidence of curing the disease.
Experimental treatment – Epithelial Mesothelioma
Researchers are studying new treatments to slow or cure cancer epithelium. Some of these treatments are still at an early stage of research. Others are available in clinical trials. At that time, none of the experimental treatments have been shown to cure mesothelioma, but some offer hope of cure in the future. If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial, discuss your interests with your doctor to see if you qualify, epithelial mesothelioma.
